The Best of Juke Box Hits of the 60's looks like a pretty decent survey of the pop landscape of the '60s, touching on girl groups, soul, frat rock, Motown, doo wop, vocal pop and the British Invasion. Unfortunately for music fans who like to hear the original hit versions of songs, almost every track here is a re-recording of the original done at some unspecified date past the singer or group's prime. Of course the cover doesn't tell you that, it only says "Original Artists". They are trying to fool unsavvy music fans into buying a totally worthless collection and as the Shangri-Las would say, "that's called sad".
