The Best of John Travolta: Let Her In is a budget-line collection that draws from the actor's two mid-'70s albums, John Travolta and Can't Let You Go. That means none of his Grease hits are included, but his solo successes -- "Let Her In," "Whenever I'm Away From You, " "All Strung Out On You" -- are present and accounted for, as are nine other album tracks. The packaging of the collection isn't particularly good, but neither is the music -- Let Her In has to be judged as an artifact from the '70s, not as serious music or good pop music. It simply functions as nostalgia and on that level, it works well. After all, it has all the hits for a cheap price and most listeners that want to indulge in nostalgia don't want much more than that.
