This 75-minute, 13-song anthology includes tracks from all three of their solo albums, plus an outtake from the third album ("David Difficult") and two cuts from a June 1969 radio session. There's a nagging sense throughout that you're listening to Traffic outtakes, so strong is the similarity of the songwriting and the arrangements to much late-1960s, early-1970s Traffic material. It's not as good as Traffic, of course, but that shouldn't be taken as a heavy criticism. Within the genre of Traffic-like sounds, it's pretty respectable. And within the bigger overall genre of late-1960s British heavy/progressive keyboard rock, this is less ostentatious and more listenable than much of the competition.
