Masta Ace has always seemed to remain on the edges of hip-hop, leaving long periods between albums, often leaving fans wondering if there will even be another album. One thing is for sure though, Ace has had his share of neighborhood hits, most notably "Music Man," "Can't Stop the Bumrush," and his duo with old-school rapper Biz Markie, "Me and the Biz." This compilation is an assortment of Masta Ace's work from his days on the Cold Chillin' record label that housed such legendary artists as MC Shan, Marley Marl, Roxanne Shante, Kool G Rap, Big Daddy Kane, Wu-Tang Clan's Genius, and KRS-One.
