The Best... compiles many of tropical vocalist Tony Vega's most popular songs onto one CD. At the time of this collection's release in 2002, Vega had released several albums over the years. Thus, narrowing down his canon of performances to one disc isn't easy. Some of the songs compiled here include "Yo Me Quedo," "Esa Mujer," "Prenda Tendida," "Ella Es," and "Si Me Mira a los Ojos," among others. The Best... succeeds Vega's previous best-of album from five years earlier, Greatest Hits (1997).
