AllMusic Review by

St. Clair's two-volume 60's Collection features a bizarre sampling of rock and pop hits from the '60s. Several artists appear more than once, making for a very limited view of the decade. And though each volume includes 15 songs, just over half of the capacity allowed on the discs is put to use -- so it's not as if either volume holds a special value. Highlights of the first volume include the Kinks' "You Really Got Me," Sandie Shaw's "Girl Don't Come," the Tremeloes' "Here Comes My Baby," Long John Baldry's "Let the Heartaches Begin," the Searchers' "Needles and Pins," and the Foundations' "Build Me Up Buttercup."
