This is the Stars at My Desk on a blue split 7" that includes a real picture (of a kitten) stuck on the sleeve. Laurent Teissier's bittersweet lo-fi songs are as efficient as ever: here is another bunch of precious, catchy little tunes from the Stakhanovist songwriter of the Stars at My Desk. On the other side of the disc, TG (ultra-productive lo-fi writer, plus techno musician) explores the folk side of his music (guitar/vocals), except for the tune "Stop Forever," which is a beautiful instrumental ballad with beats and synthesizer sounds. Too bad there had been a problem during the printing of the disc: his side (and only his side) sounds like it had been recorded with a lousy cassette recorder.
