While the album contains 11 tracks, it actually sounds like one very long song divided into smaller sections. There are many recurring themes, and it should be noted that most of the material is instrumental. Although Lands End does have a singer, the album is dominated by keyboards. The music is melodic and usually soft -- very soothing, with a dreamlike quality to it -- but can also be aggressive at times. If Terra Serranum was to be described with just one word, it would have to be "fascinating."
