AllMusic Review by

Little Anthony & the Imperials were one of the rare doo wop groups to transition into the more uptown soul sound of the mid-'60s, but even at that, their most enduring songs came early in the group's career when they recorded for George Goldner's End Records, the period covered by this collection. The essentials from End are here, including the classic "Tears on My Pillow" and its almost-as-good B-side "Two People in the World," as well as "So Much," "Wishful Thinking," "A Prayer and a Juke Box," and the 1960 dance track "Shimmy, Shimmy, Ko-Ko-Bop." It adds up to all the Imperials most listeners will ever need.
