Cleveland-based Darryl Alexander produced this record, wrote all the songs, and played drums and keyboards. There's no denying his multiple talents, but the album's radio-ready pop-jazz format holds little creative interest. Guitarist Ken Karsh steals the show, however, playing fluid, George Benson-style solos on many cuts and contributing tasty rhythm guitar on "Can This Be Love" and "City Without Walls."
