Four years after their first meeting on record, Bucky Pizzarelli and his son John Pizzarelli recorded an encore. John was starting to gain a reputation as a personable and friendly singer, but this is purely an instrumental date. The two seven-string guitarists blend together quite well, and overall, the date contains more heated numbers than their earlier meeting. Highlights include "In a Mellow Tone," "There Is No Greater Love," "In a Mist" and "Four Brothers." Exquisite and occasionally exciting music.
