Sweet Dreams, the second album from Canadian metallers Sword (originally released on Aquarius Records, later reissued by Roadracer) repeated the formula of their debut with solid songwriting and production. Sadly, it also repeated the first album's lack of success (it stiffed, OK?), prompting the band to call it a day soon after. This notwithstanding, guitarist Mike Plant proves his mettle as a first class shredder by providing inspired riffs to standout cuts such as "The Trouble Is," "The Threat," and "Life on the Sharp Edge."
