Swaraj is a various-artists album released to celebrate the 50th anniversary of India's independence from Great Britain. Acid Jazz has assembled a 13-track collection of adventurous dance artists who blend acid jazz, house and dance-club music with Indian music. Not all of the songs work, but there are enough moments that do to make Swaraj worth investigating.
