Much like the Kidz Bop series, Disney's Superstar Kidz series features kids singing along with re-recordings of pop hits. Unlike Kidz Bop, however, Superstar Kidz puts the kids' voices front and center instead of relegating them to the choruses of the songs. Superstar Kidz 2 features versions of "So Yesterday," "Are You Happy Now?," "Invisible," "Here Without You," "Drift Away," and "Beautiful," as well as "What I Like About You" and "Why Can't I?" (parents with an indie rock past probably never thought they'd see the day that a Liz Phair song turned up on a children's album). The disc also includes bonus karaoke versions of "So Yesterday," "Are You Happy Now?," "Invisible," "(There's Gotta Be) More to Life," and "What Dreams Are Made Of." While the track listing isn't as interesting as those found on the Kidz Bop series, Superstar Kidz does score points for including more of the kids' vocals.
