AllMusic Review by

A compilation of soul tracks, four from All Platinum Records and six from various other labels. Features totally obscure sounds from fly-by-night artists: Sound Experience's "Devil With the Bust" and Jalal's "Hamhock's Hall Was Big." The highlights are two erotic ones from Sylvia -- "Private Performance" and "Sweet Stuff" -- the Moments' "Sexy Mama" -- the only real hit -- and the Counts' pulsating "Funk Punk." Other goodies by Ripple, Southside Movement, Vernon Garrett, and the Whatnauts' "Why Can't People Be Colors Too" make this an interesting collector's item.
