King Records' Super Hits 1970 collects ten of that year's biggest pop and soul hits, including Clarence Carter's "Patches," the Grass Roots' "Sooner or Later," and Brook Benton's "Rainy Night in Georgia." Unfortunately, all of these songs appear in re-recorded stereo versions, and even though these re-recordings aren't as cheap and tinny-sounding as they are on some collections, they're still inferior enough to make this collection difficult to recommend (especially considering the album's relatively short length).
