AllMusic Review by

Released in February 2012, Strong is the debut album by 17-year-old pop singer Sebastian Wurth, who made fifth place in the eighth season of the German casting show Deutschland Sucht den Superstar in 2011. The record's 12 tracks offer radio-friendly, acoustic guitar-driven pop overseen by veteran producers such as Matthias Hass (Roger Cicero, Annett Louisan), Christian Fleps (Marquess), Peter Ries (No Angels), and Ivo Moring (Christina Stürmer). On "Sound of Silence," a cover of the Paul Simon song, Wurth duets with fellow DSDS contestant Dominik Büchele (who appeared in the 2009 season). The album features the single "You Let the Sun Go Down."
