The January 1992 edition of Sub Pop's subscription-only singles club was pressed to bubblegum-colored vinyl and featured two up-and-coming underground buzz bands. Tsunami contributes the raucous and surprisingly bitter early track "Left Behind," which eventually wound up on their World Tour and Other Destinations singles compilation. On the flip, Velocity Girl turns in "Warm/Crawl," a medley that begins as a dreamy slice of shoegazey pop and then, as succinctly as the backslash that separates the words in the song's title, it shifts into an swirling rocker. That song would, remarkably, make an appearance on Velocity Girl's Singles Compilation EP later that year.
