AllMusic Review by

It may have a silly name, but Strip Jointz: Hot Songs for Sexy Dancers is an excellent collection of risque and sexy funk, rap, dance and urban R&B. Instead of concentrating on one era, the album spans over two decades, running from Clarence Carter's "Strokin," and LaBelle's "Lady Marmalade" to the Commodores' "Brick House" and Rick James' "Superfreak" to Wreckx-N-Effect's "Rump Shaker," R. Kelly's "Bump 'N Grind," 2 in a Room's "Wiggle It," H-Town's "Knockin' Da Boots," the Outhere Brothers' "Boom Boom Boom," 2 Live Crew's "Me So Horny," and Tone-Loc's "Wild Thing." Strip Jointz is an extremely fun, danceable compilation, with almost no weak tracks, making it a terrific party record.
