While not as lyrically creative or vocally arresting as several classic harmony trios, Link & Chain still do serviceable material in the same tradition. This includes some provocative message tracks in "African Man," "Bring The Family Back" and "Desparados," and also good mood/romantic fare with "The Way You Make Me Feel" and "Infatuation." Although there's no compelling or spectacular lead singer, the harmonies are effective and the shared leads generate a good feeling and warm sound. Paul Williams, Trevor Douglas and Dwight Campbell wrote all the material.
