Sterling "Hula Cop" Mossman does it again, in stereo and with the assistance of Varoa Tiki (drums, dancing, singing), Louis Akau (Spanish guitar), Barney Isaacs (steel guitar), and Norman Isaacs (bass). His success at this point includes appearances at famous nightspots in New York and Miami, plus the inevitable spot on the "Hawaiian Eye" television show.
Among the selections are monologues, which are quite funny, although the songs themselves are the real prize. "No Huhu!," for one, became a minor classic, covered by other Hawaiian stars. Interestingly, the band flirts with other styles: calypso in "Yellow Bird" and "Hawaiian Calypso," and the swinging rock-beat ditty "Little Hula Coquette." Big fun for natives and tourists alike.
