The soundtrack to the 2012 film Step Up Revolution features a high-energy mix of hip-hop, electronic, and dance-oriented music. In keeping with the film's overall dance competition theme, these are fun, sexy, and youthful tracks clearly meant to get you in a dancing mood. Also, as the film is set in Miami Beach, there is a tropical, somewhat cross-cultural vibe to many of the cuts here, such as M.I.A.'s Bollywood-sounding "Bad Girls" and Sohanny & Vein's high-impact Latin dance cut "Get Loose." Also included here are original cuts and remixes of songs by such similarly club-ready artists as Far East Movement, Skylar Grey, Travis Porter, Diplo, and others.
