AllMusic Review by Ashleigh Kittle

In March 2002, Rev. Arthur T. Jones released his debut solo album, Speak for Me. Based on the verse Romans 8:26, "We do not know what we should pray for, but the Spirit Himself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered," the project combines gospel, urban, and adult contemporary styles. Jones, who serves as the executive director and producer for the Florida Mass Choir, was active in all aspects of the album's production, filling the shoes of executive producer, producer, and primary songwriter. Joining him on the project are producer and songwriter Rev. Oliver W. Wells and songwriter V. Michael McKay. Tracks include "Turn It Loose," "From a Distance," and "Refreshed." Overall, the project is one of intense passion for God, proclaiming boldly, Speak for Me!
