AllMusic Review by

Intelligently assembled Springfield compilations have proven to be a surprisingly elusive concept, if you want to go beyond the big hits. There's lots of good stuff on this 24-track survey of her 1960s work: some (not all) of her big early hits, and some superb mid-'60s LP-only covers like "Oh No Not My Baby" and "Anyone Who Had a Heart." These are interspersed with less-impressive items from later in the decade, and chronologically and stylistically it jumps all over the place. So it's not bad, but doesn't really satisfy either the collector or the listener who just wants the greatest hits.
