AllMusic Review by

The fifth full-length album from Japanese reggae group Fire Ball finds the band in prime condition. Teaming with Jungle Roots for a number of tracks, the sound is in line with much of the rest of Japanese reggae, the band not quite moving into a more Jamaican format yet (that would happen a couple of years later), but still paying respect to their influences. On Sounds of Revolution, the band is past their most formative times and used to the lineup that they've settled on, but still hold the line for a more modern, less varied form of Japanese reggae.
