AllMusic Review by

Assembled by bioacoustics ornithologist J.C. Roche, this set features calls and songs from 62 of North America’s most common birds, including the water-dripping call of the American bittern, the cheerful two-note slide of the black-capped chickadee, the clattering rattle of the clapper rail, the sad, bell-like tones of the mourning dove, and the bop hornman’s stop-start melodic burst of the song sparrow. If you know what these birds sound like, then it makes it so much easier to find them, as any good birder knows.
