AllMusic Review by

This comp from A.D.D. Records features three songs each from ten bands. While all the outfits here look to punk's roots for inspiration, they're not looking under the same rocks. Unseen kick things off with three fiery blasts of rapid-fire near-hardcore, while Discocks cross the Clash with Oi! on their standout track, "Be What You Are." Speaking of the Clash, Defiance bash their way through a sort-of cover in "Portland's Burning," but their 100 percent original "You Got It All Wrong" is much better. Banner of Hope offer a female-fronted sound, while Oxymoron and Braindance access the second wave of British punk. The best known here are Anti-Flag and Blanks 77, and both bands submit strong material. Overall a solid compilation for the punk rock purist in your life.
