This second volume in the series is subtitled 'Dance Queens' and features tracks that include well-known hits of the disco era along with other chart fodder from the same time period of the hustle, platform shoes and bell bottoms. Highlights include Donna Summer's "Bad Girls," Patti Labelle's "Stir It Up," Vicki Sue Robinson's "Hold Tight," Evelyn "Champagne" King's "Flirt," Thelma Houston's "You Used to Hold Me So Tight" and Linda Clifford's interpretation of "Bridge Over Troubled Water." Rounding out the rest of the collection are tracks by Norma Jean Wright, Jackie Moore, Cheryl Lynn, Stephanie Mills and an early solo turn from Jody Watley. Although there are only 11 songs aboard, the running time is well over 70 minutes, so put your boogie shoes on and dive in.
