The emphasis was almost totally on partying, frivolity and sex at the 1993 Carnival, judging from the 12 selections on this hit anthology. Superblue's "Bacchanal Time" and The Mighty Sparrow's "The More the Merrier" set the pace; they are powerhouse, barreling numbers with charging horn sections, darting basslines and propulsive arrangements. David Rudder's "Dus in Dey Face" is the rare message track, but its pace equals that of the others. The greatest dance track is United Sisters' "Whoa Donkey," a hilarious, non-stop dynamo.
