A prolific producer and songwriter for various artists since 1983, French-Armenian jazz musician André Manoukian stepped out from behind the mixing desk in 2008 with his debut solo album, Inkala. Two years later, the Nouvelle Star judge released the follow-up, So in Love, a collection of cover versions of classic standards penned by some of the most well-respected lyricists and composers of the 20th century. With guest vocals from the likes of Camélia Jordana, Benjamin Siksou, and Anaïs, its 14 tracks include jazz-led interpretations of Cole Porter's "I've Got You Under My Skin," Bacharach and David's "This Guy's in Love with You," and Irving Berlin's "Cheek to Cheek."
