Smooth Grooves: After Midnight features popular hits from some of freestyle music's biggest names such as Destiny's Child, Sisqo, and Jennifer Lopez. However, this release disguises those chart-topping names with the music of the Countdown Singers. The Countdown Singers, who are most recognized for their cover renditions in the club/dance and house circuits, make Smooth Grooves: After Midnight a decent album for those fans seeking upbeat R&B muzak.
