Smooth Carols: The Crooners Sing Your Christmas Favorites is a rather skimpy but nonetheless decent compilation of 11 Christmas songs, including the familiar classics "Happy Holidays" by Bing Crosby, "The Christmas Song" by Mel Tormé, and "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town" by Frank Sinatra. Also included are tracks by Buddy Clark, Dennis Day, and Nelson Eddy. It is odd, however, that the version of "White Christmas" is performed by Dick Haymes and not Bing. Oh well. If you stumble across this disc in the bargain bin, pick it up.
