AllMusic Review by

The seventh release from San Diego's Slowdance is a budget-priced sampler with a wealth of unreleased/rare material. The sound is multiple variants of indie rock, from the pretty dream pop of Jejune's "It's All Highs and Lows," to Piebald's angular emo pulse. Fans will note the Sterling Silver track "Melodica" -- according to the label, it's the last thing the band ever did. Small Brown Bike contributes "Unsung Zero" from its 2001 effort Dead Reckoning, while the Casket Lottery's "Bill & Axe" is interesting enough. Other highlights include the hyper clang of Trans Megetti's "Lot 43," as well as No Knife's "Silver Spring." A solid buy for both longtime fans and curious newcomers.
