AllMusic Review by

The four-song Sky Cruiser was originally available as a bonus EP included with Australian pressings of Ween's full-length Chocolate & Cheese. Curiously, two of the four tracks -- the bouncy "Big Jilm" and the unnerving Queen-meets-Queensr├┐che NAMBLA ode "Don't Get Too Close (To My Fantasy)" -- are tracks from the duo's previous album, Pure Guava, but the other two rarities make this a must-have for the devout. The title cut, first issued on a pink-vinyl Sub Pop 7", reaffirms Gener and Deaner's unabashed love for Prince, effortlessly evoking the little guy's falsetto and funky swagger; the abrasive "Cover It With Gas and Set It on Fire," supposedly recorded in the Netherlands on Christmas Day 1990, sounds neither Dutch nor particularly seasonal.
