Bad enough that there was a one lame attempt to cash in on the Austin Powers phenomenon (see Sixties Power, Vol. 1), Retro Music had to issue a second volume of random songs from the '60s inspired by the swinging Mr. Powers and his films. Songs that for the most part are lame re-recordings done by the noticeably older original artists. So despite the presence of the original version of the Turtles' "Happy Together," which is usually enough to make a disc worthwhile, this feeble attempt at being shagadelic (Billy Joe Royal's "Cherry Hill Park") is a crass and mishandled enterprise.
