AllMusic Review by

As a house pianist for the Decca label, Sammy Price recorded with quite a few vocalists during the period covered by this European LP. Many of the 14 selections on this LP are a bit rare. They find Price swinging with small groups behind such blues-oriented singers as Ollie Shepard (on a date including tenor saxophonist Chu Berry), Jimmie Gordon, Yack Taylor, Perline Ellison, Bea Booze, Christine Chatman and Lem Johnson. In addition, Price has the chance to be in the spotlight and sing "Queen Street Blues." An interesting, if not essential collection.
