AllMusic Review by

Humania was a short-lived band formed in the mid-1980s by the Ultravox keyboardist Billy Currie after Ultravox's demise. Though the band performed live, it never released an album. Unreleased until the mid-2000s, this rare collection of vintage New Romantic-type material shows a band sounding very much of its time, with chiming guitars, Bowie-esque vocals, and highly fashionable synth sounds. Highlights including the anthemic "Undertow," the thundering "Suffering Cease," and the swirling synthesizers and heroic vocals of "Can't Stay Long."
