AllMusic Review by

Silknoose is unfortunately monotone considering the individual tracks on it. Most of Silknoose's songs are based on one simple loop, and without any additional editing they succumb into dull repetition, which isn't quite usual for Muslimgauze. However, Silknoose has its pros, as there are a few good songs. "Your Arms, Our Opium," "Quazi Hussain (Re-Prize-Al)," and "Moslem Satellite Channel" are all excellent pieces, making Silknoose worthwhile. Silknoose can't, however, be recommended as a listener's first -- or even tenth -- Muslimgauze purchase, as there are many other better albums available.
