AllMusic Review by

One of the best and hardest to find Zentner albums, Right Here! Right Now! contains more of his usual heavy-handed Las Vegas blaring, but with some nice surprises. In the tradition of great singles, "Double Whammy" begins with the title being spoken, and immediately launches into a driving, uptempo mod sound. This and "Soul Machine," each co-written by Zentner, are the album's essential tracks. The rest of side one consists of standard covers done in Zentner's typically unnecessary, over-the-top style (the exception is "Skootchy," which is funky but unconvincing). "Soul Machine" has a very interesting duck-quack effect that works because the tune is hip and Zentner doesn't overdo it completely. "Ain't There Something That Money Can't Buy" is also fine, but the other covers are just filler. All things considered, not bad for a Si Zentner album.
