This compilation features British-produced latter-day tracks featuring a number of former Motown artists. Originally released on Motor City Records, these sides aren't bad, they just aren't the real deal; and they're pricey - an authentic CD of originals cost less. But Motown afficionados will enjoy listening to these vocalists prove that they've still got the goods. Includes James Ellis soloing on "If You Don't Want My Love," Edwin Starr's "Release This Love," and Ivory Joe Hunter's "Running Through My Fingers." There are also tracks by Pat Lewis, Frankie Gaye, Marv Johnson, Johnny Bristol, Jean, Sherrie, & Lynda of the Supremes, and others.
