The third album from Al B. Sure is more moody than its predecessors, more concerned with stoking the bedroom flames than providing any internal heat. The result is a fine boudoir record but a boring listen otherwise. Songs like "Right Now," "Natalie," and "I Don't Wanna Cry" do their best to keep the fire burning, but its one-note blandness and one-track mind eventually can't overcome the overriding dullness of the grooves. Small surprise that little has been heard of Al since.
