AllMusic Review by

There are some deeply exaggerated elements of dubstep throughout Seventy Dubstep Electronic Essentials -- does Cleopatra's Hypnotic wing have Seventy Dubstep Acoustic Essentials in the works? -- but, as a whole, these four discs represent dubstep as much as a random trance compilation. Nothing here is essential, either, but there's some functional, hard-hitting dance music circa 2011/2012 provided by the likes of Borgore ("Birthday and Black November"), Rusko ("Woo Boost"), and a large cast of relative unknowns, some of whom -- with names like Blackburner, Space Temple, Black Dubstep Express, Dubstep Warriors, and Ready Set Dubstep Start -- appear more than once.
