AllMusic Review by

Assembling all of Fridge's single and EP sides from their 1997 debut Lojen through to 1998's Orko, the two-disc Seven's and Twelve's highlights the trio's stunning diversity as well as their impressive mastery of sound and structure. Given the relatively brief time frame during which all of the material originally appeared, the only thing more remarkable than Fridge's prolificness is their sheer consistency -- much of Seven's and Twelve's is brilliant, the product of a group which emerged with its all-encompassing sonic vison fully-formed. From the seductive, slo-mo bloom of the epic "Anglepoised" to the squiggly electronics of "For Force" to the airy dub of "Asthma," each cut evokes its own distinct textures and atmospherics, linked together by a warmth and accessability rare for music so fiercely intelligent.
