AllMusic Review by

The undisputed kings of New York house in the '90s, "Little" Louie Vega and Kenny "Dope" Gonzalez serve up a great double-disc mix of the '90s' top house hits on Sessions, Vol. 5. Featured tracks include Hardrive's "Deep Inside," "Can't Wait to Get No Sleep 95" and "Moonshine"; "Come and Be Gone" by The Bucketheads; Lou 2's "Freaky," and "Stay Together" by Barbara Tucker (all Masters at Work productions). Contributions from artists unconnected with Vega and Gonzalez include Kim English's "I Know a Place," Jasper Street Company's "A Feeling," David Morales's "Philadelphia," Donna Blackely's "Gotta New Love," "There Will Come a Day" by Absolute, "Keep On" by M&S, and Rochelle Fleming's "Suffer."
