AllMusic Review by

The Calliope label in the mid-'70s released a series of LPs that contained soundtracks from television shows in the 1950s that featured jazz. This particular album is of greatest interest because it has two early Abbey Lincoln vocals (on "Out of the Past" and "When a Woman Loves a Man"). Otherwise the West Coast-styled music (by the Buddy Collette Quintet and harmonica player Les Thompson) is decent but not all that memorable. Pity that the complete personnel is not given.
