Rogers' brand of gospel-flavored soul was a bit "old school" by the mid-to-late '70s, although his work kept pace with mainstream R&B rhythms and production values without making the effort to cross into disco. This is an 18-track compilation of material from the six albums that he cut for RCA and Columbia between 1975 and 1980, including the modest R&B hits "Say You Love Me," "Trust Me, Pt. 1," "She Believes in Me," and "All My Love, Pt. 1"; it's generally best when it cuts closest to his gospel roots.
