AllMusic Review by

This three-disc set collects 39 rather random but still vintage rocksteady and early roots reggae sides, including Bob Marley's “Put It On” and “Duppy Conqueror,” Toots & the Maytals' “Pressure Drop,” “Sweet and Dandy,” and “Monkey Man,” Delroy Wilson's “This Old Heart of Mine,” Desmond Dekker's “Israelites,” and Freddie McGregor's wonderful version of “Oh No Not My Baby,” so it’s worth the budget price, but none of these tracks are particularly rare or hard to find on other collections.
