AllMusic Review by

Another 18-track installment in Time Life's Romantically Yours series, Romantically Yours: The Power of Love features another round of significant soft rock, adult contemporary, smooth soul, and quiet storm hits. Apart from Celine Dion's "The Power of Love" and Mariah Carey's "Vision of Love," everything here was released during the '70s or the '80s. That includes the likes of Heart's "These Dreams," Dan Hill's "Can't We Try," the Doobie Brothers' "What a Fool Believes," and Neil Diamond's "Heartlight." This volume concludes with two of the biggest and most lush hits from the Philadelphia International label: Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes' "If You Don't Know Me by Now" (covered by Simply Red in 1989) and the Three Degrees' "When Will I See You Again."
