AllMusic Review by

Volume 4 comes out of the sleeve with another impressive lineup, starting with "Foolish Thoughts" by the classic entertainer Narvel Felts. The CD also features the Rockabilly Hall of Fame Studio Band with Nebraska Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Mike Semrad on vocals doing another Timmers composition, "Swing Sister Swing." The track was recorded in Lincoln, Nebraska, at Cowboy Bob's Jam Palace Studio with some of Nebraska's best players in tow.

Lou Hobbs delivers a fun "Tribute to Narvel Felts," and Bobby Lowell sings his heart out on "Just Because." "It Doesn't Matter Anymore" from Marco DiMaggio, "Rockabilly Cadillac Girl" by Texas 55, and "Rockin' By Our Lonesome" from Ken Davis are all outstanding cuts, but the fact is, there's not a loser in the bunch.

The Rockabilly Hall of Fame has done a great job of helping to keep this great music alive and well, and these 56 tracks will no doubt add even more momentum to an already active world-wide rockabilly revival. Gene Vincent would be proud.
