The packaging of Diana Ross & the Supremes' Rock On: Breakout Years notes that 1964 was the big year for the group since they placed four singles at the top of the Billboard Hot 100. Only two of those hits -- "Come See About Me" and "Stop! In the Name of Love" -- are on the disc, while neither "Baby Love" nor "Where Did Our Love Go" made the cut. That demonstrates the rather random makeup of the track list. Several other significant A-sides aren't here, either, and some of the selections in their place are downright baffling. In this case, as with most other budget compilations, the buyer gets what she or he pays for.
